Engineer, R&D Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable applications and services utilizing C#/.NET.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs while enhancing SQL Server performance.

• Contribute to front-end functionalities using AngularJS when relevant.

• Implement automated testing and CI/CD workflows to ensure consistent delivery.

• Work collaboratively with Product, QA, and DevOps teams and engage in code reviews.

• Diagnose complex production issues and lead efforts for root cause analysis and resolution.

• Influence system architecture and propose practical solutions that balance speed and quality.

• Mentor colleagues and offer technical guidance across various projects.

• Maintain documentation for designs, decisions, and operational runbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 3 years of professional software engineering experience in delivering enterprise-level software.

• Extensive professional experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.

• Practical experience in developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular (preferred) or another contemporary TypeScript framework.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented design, modular architectures, and scalable backend services.

• Capability to prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and lead technical initiatives.
