This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and manage the fundamental data infrastructure and platform services that support CrowdStrike's analytics ecosystem.
• Set up, configure, and oversee Airflow and Superset within production settings.
• Administer infrastructure-as-code for data platform elements utilizing Terraform.
• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflow deployments.
• Establish and uphold platform security measures, access controls, and compliance protocols.
• Design and manage data models with DBT and catalog assets in OpenMetadata.
• Develop efficient Python scripts for platform automation and data processing tasks.
• Guide junior engineers and offer technical mentorship.
• Must qualify for CJIS clearance (requires U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of combined experience in infrastructure and data engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Python programming (5+ years).
• Expertise in deploying and managing Apache Airflow.
• Strong background in deploying and overseeing Apache Superset or comparable BI platforms.
• Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI including IAM, networking, and managed services.
• Skilled in Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and/or Docker in a production environment.
• Familiarity with DBT and OpenMetadata.
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling techniques.
• Knowledgeable in data security and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated experience applying AI technologies to improve decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business results.
• Ability to pass additional background and fingerprint checks as required by government clients periodically.
