This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Design, develop, test, and provide support for features in eCommerce and portal applications.
• Contribute to the development of front-end, back-end, APIs, and integration solutions.
• Implement user stories, enhancements, and resolve bugs.
• Create reusable, maintainable, and efficient code structures.
• Participate in peer code evaluations.
• Facilitate product search, browsing, registration, login, self-service, shopping cart, checkout, order tracking, portal navigation, content access, and notification workflows.
• Diagnose application defects, integration challenges, and performance issues.
• Assist with production support, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve issues.
• Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and other automated testing assets.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, ensure release readiness, and validate deployments.
• Enhance application performance, reliability, maintainability, and observability.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and support materials.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, designers, QA, and engineers during Agile ceremonies.
• Develop and maintain integrations with identity and access management, payment, ERP/order, CRM, content management, and product information systems.
• Facilitate API-based communication and data exchanges.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Generally, 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Familiarity with building or supporting web applications, APIs, or digital platforms.
• Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Knowledgeable in Java, C#, Node.js, or Python.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and foundational integration concepts.
• Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proficient in utilizing version control systems, testing frameworks, and Agile development methodologies.
• Comprehension of software development lifecycle concepts, debugging processes, and code quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and teamwork orientation.
