This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Possess a deep understanding of financial operations within data centers, including cost drivers, relevant technologies, vendors, client relationships, and regional specifics.
• Set annual and monthly performance benchmarks, assess variances between budgeted and actual figures, and relay critical insights to leadership.
• Identify and spearhead initiatives aimed at cost reduction.
• Assist in the monthly financial closing process for data center engineering.
• Create and enhance complex financial models based on key performance indicators.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Detect inefficiencies or waste within processes, and implement new procedures and automation to eliminate these issues and prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with the Data Center Business Analytics team to effectively manage CrowdStrike's data center portfolio.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
• Over 5 years of experience in finance or a related analytical discipline.
• A BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or another analytical field (such as Mathematics or Computer Science).
• At least 5 years of experience in finance or business analysis.
• Strong business judgment and acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven capability to work autonomously and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Demonstrated success in meeting tight deadlines and managing workload priorities.
• Proficient in Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentations.
• Established experience in leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and drive business results.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and data modeling.
• Intermediate-level knowledge of engineering and hardware concepts, including asset control and management, RMA, warranty, and sparing reporting.
