Engine Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Diagnose and perform less complex and moderately complex engine repairs at customer locations.

• Execute repairs on engine products within a service shop environment.

• Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.

• Conduct engine overhauls without assistance.

• Complete intricate internal engine repairs.

• Maintain comprehensive records of serviced vehicles.

• Follow Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental guidelines.

• Enhance field service expertise and skills through continuous training and certifications.

• Provide and maintain personal tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technician coverage required across various regions in Canada.

• 14 days on and 14 days off rotational shifts.

• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time in some situations.

• Bilingual communication skills are preferred.

• Ability to perform complex internal engine repairs.

• Capable of conducting engine overhauls independently.

• In-depth understanding of aftertreatment systems and their components.

• Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software.

• 5-year motor vehicle report without major violations, adhering to company policy conditions.

• QSK 15-19 certification required.

• Apprenticeship documentation and certification must be provided prior to hire.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment Criminal Background Check is mandatory.

• Must provide and maintain personal tools.
