Engagement Moderator – Sports Enthusiasts – German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee and moderate live interactions across various digital platforms during NFL, NBA, and other sporting events.

• Interact with German-speaking fans in real-time, utilizing the suitable brand voice and tone.

• Address fan comments, reactions, inquiries, and discussions.

• Cultivate positive, inclusive, and engaging online communities.

• Recognize, escalate, and manage content that is inappropriate or violates policies.

• Tailor messaging style according to event context, audience sentiment, and brand guidelines.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless live-event coverage.

• Maintain accuracy, speed, and consistency during periods of high-volume engagement.

• Keep updated on relevant sports news and developments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German, with required written and reading comprehension.

• Excellent written communication skills, including strong grammar and spelling.

• Previous experience in social media moderation, community management, or digital engagement.

• Ability to quickly adapt to different brand voices and communication styles.

• Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced live-event settings.

• Experience with client-facing communication.

• Strong passion for sports.

• Familiarity with both American football and basketball.

• Experience in moderating live sports or entertainment events.

• Access to a dedicated laptop or desktop.

• Minimum of 8 GB RAM.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Willingness to install ModSquad security software.

• Ability to enable two-factor authentication on both device and mobile phone.

• Availability on weekends and evenings.
