Engagement Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Supervise projects with diverse delivery models, ensuring goals are met on time and within financial parameters.

• Ensure compliance with internal requirements while delivering strategic value to clients and projects.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with client stakeholders, aligning services with their long-term objectives.

• Report on engagement progress, challenges, and outcomes to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Oversee financial aspects of engagements, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management.

• Allocate and optimize resources across various projects.

• Identify potential risks and implement strategies for mitigation.

• Prepare performance reports and present findings to senior management and clients.

• Lead larger project teams, mentor team members, and promote collaboration.

• Enhance client satisfaction and retention by delivering top-notch services and addressing issues effectively.

• Spot business development opportunities and collaborate with sales teams on upselling and cross-selling initiatives.

• Measure business benefits throughout the project lifecycle.

• Travel several times a year may be necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

• At least 5 years of project management experience, with a focus on AI skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective time management and organizational skills.

• Proficient in people management.

• Familiarity with project management fundamentals or experience as an acting Scrum Master.

• Knowledge of professional services agreements, including change management processes.

• Experience in IT Managed Services, project management courses, and other IT certifications.

• Proven skills in project risk analysis and mitigation.

• Preferred: Experience in client-facing roles with communication up to the C-suite level.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and XP.

• Preferred: Experience delivering AWS cloud projects in the IT Professional Services sector.

• Preferred: Background in managing complex deliverable-based, fully outsourced, or large-scale projects or programs.

• Preferred: Knowledge of AWS services, delivery models, and solutions (IDP, Connect, etc.).

• Preferred: Experience in leading renewals, expansions, and advocacy across a portfolio.
