📋 Description

• Conduct intricate electricity market modeling and analyze transmission congestion using the PROMOD market simulation model, incorporating security constrained economic dispatch (SCED).

• Evaluate study outcomes to create deliverables that offer significant and actionable insights for clients.

• Oversee client engagements and maintain ongoing client relationships.

• Deliver presentations of study results and findings to client executives.

• Investigate critical energy market operational processes along with current issues and trends.

• Engage in business development endeavors through collaboration within the organization and direct interactions with clients and prospects.

• Build and enhance essential client relationships.

• Assist projects and team members independently while also collaborating with colleagues and managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Science, Finance, or a related field, accompanied by over four years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in energy markets utilizing modeling software such as PROMOD IV, Encompass, UPLAN, or Plexos.

• Background in the electricity sector conducting economic studies on both conventional and renewable generation.

• Exceptional quantitative and analytical capabilities, with a proven track record of leading and articulating project results both orally and in writing.

• Strong understanding and enthusiasm for power markets, along with knowledge of basic transmission system operations and nodal (LMP) price formation.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both clients and staff.
