Energy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Serve as the local on-site representative for both the program and the company to residential clients.

• Implement energy-efficient equipment installations.

• Perform pre- and post-installation verifications along with other technical data gathering tasks across a designated territory.

• Assist program staff and clients in engaging stakeholders, selling, or installing energy efficiency retrofits or new constructions.

• Offer technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancements based on client requirements.

• Diagnose technical issues and recommend effective solutions.

• Execute the installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades.

• Provide updates and feedback to program staff regarding project scope, planning, and product efficacy.

• Utilize technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve issues.

• Travel within a specified territory.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.

• High school diploma or Associate's Degree with applicable industry technical certification/training is preferred.

• BPI Certification is preferred.

• If applicable, fulfill all DOT qualification requirements.

• Adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

• Applicants must have authorization to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or assistance.

• Candidates must successfully pass pre-employment checks.
