Energy Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in energy-efficiency initiatives that advocate for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy solutions for large industrial and commercial establishments.

• Facilitate customer efforts to achieve energy and carbon emission reduction targets.

• Discover energy-efficiency opportunities and compute potential energy savings.

• Evaluate energy-saving calculations to ensure accuracy of savings.

• Conduct presentations.

• Collaborate with program energy advisors, facility managers, manufacturing engineers, contractors, suppliers, and energy engineers.

• Execute field verification for pre- and post-installation energy-efficiency initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to cultivate relationships with customers and suppliers.

• Familiarity with energy-efficiency technologies and methodologies.

• Excellent productivity, accuracy, organization, and communication abilities.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Physical capability to conduct field verification for energy-efficiency measures before and after installation.

• Fundamental understanding of energy modeling, Technical Resource Manuals (TRM), building systems, industrial systems, construction methods, and/or the energy-efficiency sector.

• Prior experience in reviewing energy-efficiency projects and evaluating the precision of engineering energy-saving estimates.

• A four-year technical degree and 3 to 5+ years of pertinent experience in industrial manufacturing settings and energy management are preferred.

• A master's degree in a technical field is advantageous.
