Energy Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Offer personalized, continuous assistance to property owners and contractors through phone and email communication.

• Facilitate project conversion and ensure compliance with contracts.

• Address inquiries from customers and contractors, guiding them on program requirements.

• Execute rebate processing, perform calculations, manage data entry, and review QA/QC documentation.

• Document customer and contractor interactions for program tracking and reporting purposes.

• Independently handle a consistent and high volume of phone calls and emails while working remotely.

• Balance and prioritize phone and email communications throughout the day.

• Occasionally travel, approximately twice a year, for local, optional in-person program or contractor events if located in the area.

• Assist homeowners and contractors with eligibility, paperwork, program qualifications, project completion, upgrades, incentives, and rebates.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-1 years of relevant experience; prior customer service or high-volume communication experience is highly regarded.

• Proficient in navigating computer systems, including Microsoft Office, and general technology.

• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities.

• Genuine passion for energy efficiency, sustainability, or customer assistance.

• No specific degree or major is necessary.

• Detail-oriented approach to resolving rebate and calculation discrepancies.

• Patience and adaptability for engaging in longer, in-depth customer discussions.

• Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements, if relevant.

• Must possess authorization to work in the country where the position is based without employer sponsorship or support.
