Energy Account Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee a pipeline of commercial and industrial prospects.

• Build relationships with business owners, property managers, operators, executives, and other key decision-makers.

• Identify opportunities for clients to lower costs, manage energy risks, enhance efficiency, and prepare for future energy requirements.

• Deliver customized energy solutions utilizing Navigate Power and Verde Solutions’ supplier network, tools, and support.

• Foster long-term client relationships through consultative selling, referrals, networking, and persistent follow-up.

• Keep up to date on energy procurement, renewable resources, battery storage, EV charging, and additional commercial energy solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in the B2B sector, with a proven record of meeting and surpassing targets.

• Preferred experience in energy consulting, procurement, or related sectors.

• An established book of business is advantageous.

• Strong professional network with the ability to leverage connections for client acquisition.

• Comfortable working autonomously without significant oversight.

• Must possess an adaptable, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset.

• Capability to work remotely as specified by state regulations.
