This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.
• Work in conjunction with a diverse, multidisciplinary care team.
• Complete all necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.
• Provide education to patients regarding preventative care and wellness using evidence-based approaches.
• Ensure patient records are accurate and up-to-date, completing charting promptly.
• Address patient inquiries and manage administrative messages and tasks.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, which includes consultations, medical advice, and prescribing when clinically warranted.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Current ABIM board certification in Endocrinology from an ACGME-accredited program.
• Active IMLC license or currently in the process of obtaining one.
• An unrestricted and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state.
• Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highlighting compassion and clarity.
• Ability to foster trust and connection with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in up-to-date clinical research.
• Proficiency in navigating EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.
• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.
• Experience in women’s health is a plus.
• Minimum commitment of 10 patient-facing hours weekly.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States; the application will inquire about visa sponsorship needs.
