End User Support, Desktop Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and resolve technical hardware and software challenges.

• Monitor, categorize, and document problems and requests while providing resolutions.

• Deliver maintenance and support for desktop hardware and software.

• Manage the upkeep of scanners, printers, and additional peripherals.

• Oversee the inventory of IT applications and software.

• Test and implement software and updates for internal, work-from-home desktops, and virtual desktop environments.

• Address vulnerabilities in both physical and virtual desktop settings.

• Assist in the onboarding process for new employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of experience as an End User Support Technician.

• Strong understanding of Windows 11 and the Microsoft Office 365 suite.

• Extensive experience in internal IT support and onboarding new hires.

• Familiarity with setting up and configuring network printers.

• Knowledge of IT ticketing systems.

• Preferred experience in vulnerability management and remediation.

• Experience with Azure and Intune.

• Proficiency in Active Directory.

• Experience in supporting hardware and software applications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, both online and offline.

• Strong time management abilities.

• Capability to perform effectively under pressure.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• High-speed internet is required for remote work; cable or fiber connections with Ethernet capability are necessary.

• Minimum internet speeds: 70/30 Mbps (basic), 200-300/35-70 Mbps (shared), or 500-1,000/100+ Mbps (heavy use).
