πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Lead and deliver hands-on assistance for intricate employee relations issues, encompassing performance challenges, employee grievances, harassment or discrimination claims, workplace disputes, policy infringements, and investigations.

β€’ Act as an employee relations subject matter authority and reliable consultant to HR Business Partners, team leaders, employees, and cross-functional collaborators.

β€’ Conduct and/or facilitate prompt, comprehensive, and impartial workplace investigations, which include intake, documentation, interviews, findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.

β€’ Offer counsel to employee relations consultants, managers, and HR partners regarding performance management, corrective measures, employee behavior, accommodations, separations, and other delicate employment issues.

β€’ Collaborate closely with Legal on high-stakes employee relations concerns, investigations, policy interpretation, employment-related claims, and risk management.

β€’ Assist with employee relations issues across U.S. demographics and provide insights on international employee relations topics in collaboration with local HR and Legal teams, including issues involving India, Ireland, and Canada.

β€’ Ensure that employee relations practices are in accordance with relevant employment laws, company regulations, local statutes, and organizational principles.

β€’ Identify, monitor, and analyze employee relations trends, themes, and metrics to guide proactive recommendations, risk management strategies, and leadership insights.

β€’ Collaborate with HR leadership, HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure coherent and synchronized approaches to employee relations.

β€’ Develop, refine, and aid in the implementation of employee relations processes, tools, templates, documentation standards, and manager guidance.

β€’ Assist in policy review, communication, and interpretation to ensure consistent application throughout the organization.

β€’ Contribute to HR process enhancements, automation, and special initiatives that elevate employee relations service delivery, consistency, compliance, and documentation.

β€’ Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment when managing sensitive employee issues and highly confidential information.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Psychology, Employee Relations, or a related field; equivalent experience may be accepted.

β€’ SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or comparable HR certification is preferred.

β€’ A minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with considerable expertise in employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and employment policy interpretation.

β€’ Strong U.S. employee relations background, including a solid understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

β€’ Experience in managing international employee relations matters, preferably in partnership with HR and Legal teams in India, Ireland, Canada, or similar global settings.

β€’ Proven experience in conducting complex investigations and providing clear, balanced, and well-documented recommendations.

β€’ Ability to evaluate risk, exercise sound judgment, and offer practical guidance on complex and sensitive employment issues.

β€’ Strong consultation, coaching, conflict resolution, and influencing abilities, with the capacity to build trust across all organizational levels.

β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the capability to produce clear documentation, investigation summaries, recommendations, and leadership updates.

β€’ Ability to function effectively in a matrixed, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.

β€’ Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize employee relations trends, themes, and opportunities for proactive intervention.

β€’ Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems; experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central and/or case management tools is preferred.

β€’ May need to remain in a stationary position for extended periods (sitting and/or standing).

β€’ Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity devices, such as a calculator, copier, and computer printer.

β€’ Must be able to collaborate with colleagues through face-to-face interactions, conference calls, and online meetings.
