Employee Benefits Proposal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the RFP (Request for Proposal) process for both new and existing business opportunities.

• Assess RFP risks related to amendments and new groups.

• Negotiate pricing, ensure rate competitiveness, and enhance product offerings.

• Review RFP documents to evaluate underwriting feasibility, assess experience, and confirm proposal accuracy.

• Manage re-quotes and necessary corrections.

• Oversee data entry in Salesforce, including stage updates, document uploads, reports, probability assessments, and pipeline management.

• Cultivate and sustain effective relationships with Sales Representatives, Brokers, Underwriters, and Employers.

• Embody company values and brand through professional negotiation, timely communication, routine check-ins, and scheduled meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma is mandatory.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Experience with Group Employee Benefits Products, underwriting guidelines, and Salesforce CRM is preferred.

• A Life and Disability insurance license for all states within the designated office's territory is required.

• Must reside in the Minnesota area.

• A criminal background check and verification of employment, education, and licensing are required as a condition of employment.

• Must be bondable.
