Employee Benefits Proposal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee the RFP (request for proposal) process for both new and existing business opportunities.

• Develop and sustain relationships with Sales Representatives, Brokers, Underwriters, and Employers.

• Assess RFP risks associated with amendments and new groups.

• Negotiate pricing, ensure rate competitiveness, and enhance product offerings.

• Review RFP documents for underwriting feasibility, evaluate experience, and check proposal accuracy.

• Handle re-quotes and necessary corrections.

• Manage data input in Salesforce, update stages, upload documents, generate reports, assess probability, and track pipeline.

• Exhibit company values and brand through professional negotiation, prompt communication, regular check-ins, and scheduled meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma is mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Experience with Group Employee Benefits Products, underwriting guidelines, and Salesforce CRM is advantageous.

• A Life and Disability insurance license for all states within the designated office territory is required.

• Residency in the Colorado area is necessary.

• A criminal background check and verification of employment, education, and licensing is required as a condition of employment.

• Must be bondable.
