This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee client lifecycle deliverables under the guidance of the Benefit Consultant and Team Lead to ensure the retention of a portfolio of business.
• Engage in client deliverables of increasing complexity.
• Participate in training and professional development focused on strategic account planning, communication, and project management.
• Identify and cultivate expertise in a specific subject matter area.
• Keep client files and internal systems updated in compliance with company protocols.
• Assist with onboarding, ongoing service, and renewal deliverables for all coverage lines and products.
• Aid in the establishment of client goals, objectives, and multi-year strategic roadmaps.
• Outline annual service delivery calendars.
• Create client deliverables, reports, and handle ad-hoc projects.
• Present findings, analyses, and recommendations during meetings, calls, and emails.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
• Review employee education and communication materials, especially during Open Enrollment periods.
• Research, address, and resolve client service inquiries.
• Maintain BenefitPoint, Oracle, and client files in accordance with data standards.
• Manage client stakeholder contact details.
• Collaborate with the Team Lead and Producer to create and oversee Internal Account Plans.
• Interact with carriers and vendors on behalf of clients and the team.
• Identify resources for potential upsell opportunities.
• Reconcile monthly client revenue between BenefitPoint and Finance Accrued Revenue.
• Develop new benefit solutions with appropriate guidance.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience working with a health and welfare carrier, broker, employee benefits administrator, or in an HR/benefits role.
• A State Specific Resident Life & Health License is mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and responsiveness are essential.
• Capability to model financial implications arising from benefit programs.
• Comfort in negotiating with insurance carriers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to identify issues and formulate effective solutions.
• Quick learner with the ability to acquire new skills efficiently.
• Capacity to work collaboratively and independently, meet deadlines, and delegate tasks when necessary.
• Ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining composed under pressure.
• Basic understanding of general business and financial principles.
• Ability to create, organize, and oversee a project plan.
• Basic understanding of strategy and long-term planning.
