EMEA Sales Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Establish and continuously enhance the regional commercial operating model.

• Lead processes for sales governance, management routines, performance evaluations, and operational cadence.

• Oversee annual planning, target-setting, and commercial review activities.

• Promote process standardization across various countries and channels.

• Discover and implement opportunities for sales productivity enhancements and automation.

• Create and maintain commercial dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and management reports.

• Provide insights regarding sales performance, profitability, channel effectiveness, and market opportunities.

• Analyze trends, risks, and growth openings and propose corrective measures.

• Conduct monthly and quarterly business performance reviews for the regional leadership team.

• Manage the forecasting process, including methodology, calendar, and consolidation.

• Oversee forecast submissions and challenge assumptions alongside sales teams.

• Uphold pipeline governance standards and maintain review discipline.

• Monitor pipeline coverage, conversion rates, velocity, opportunity aging, and forecast precision.

• Highlight forecast risks and business gaps to regional leadership.

• Act as the business owner of CRM governance and commercial reporting requirements.

• Promote CRM adoption, usage, and standards for data quality.

• Specify reporting needs and collaborate with Commercial Excellence teams on enhancements.

• Ensure data integrity, compliance in opportunity management, and accuracy in reporting.

• Develop and oversee the regional distributor governance framework.

• Set standards for distributor selection, onboarding, segmentation, development, performance reviews, and exits.

• Create distributor scorecards and performance measurement methodologies.

• Organize annual distributor evaluations and partner assessments.

• Monitor distributor capability development plans and improvement initiatives.

• Assist in distributor succession planning and channel coverage evaluations.

• Serve as the commercial liaison with Supply Chain, Demand, Digital, Customer Service, Marketing, Product Management, and Commercial Excellence.

• Aid in the development of business cases, scenario modeling, and investment decisions.

• Ensure alignment on forecasts, KPIs, commercial priorities, and performance actions.

• Coordinate the execution of key commercial initiatives across various functions.

• Act as a strategic business partner to the EMEA Commercial Leader and Sales Leader.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Business Analytics, Commercial Planning, or similar commercial management roles.

• Experience in supporting regional or multi-country commercial organizations.

• Proven track record in sales performance management, forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM governance.

• Experience in developing commercial dashboards, KPIs, reporting frameworks, and business insights.

• Experience in collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Finance functions.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.

• Strong expertise in CRM; Salesforce experience preferred.

• Excellent project management and process improvement skills.

• Strong business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of commercial levers, profitability, and growth drivers.

• Experience in driving standardization, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Experience with distributor networks, channel management, partner performance management, or Joint Business Planning is highly preferred.

• Experience in B2B manufacturing, building materials, industrial, specialty materials, or distribution-driven sectors is preferred.

• MBA or advanced business qualification is preferred.
