This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of assigned cases, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and timely advancement.
• Assess and confirm test orders and documentation, addressing any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with providers, clinic personnel, pathology teams, and internal departments.
• Track case status and implement necessary corrective measures.
• Act as the primary operational partner and main point of contact for providers.
• Offer guidance on ordering procedures, EMR workflows, documentation, products, tools, clinical applications, patient selection, and testing criteria.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of staff concerning workflows, systems, and procedures.
• Support providers with ordering processes and ensure comprehension within the approved scope.
• Manage documentation and coordinate the distribution of reports.
• Address billing-related queries through internal collaboration.
• Monitor case activity and operational metrics.
• Fulfill responsibilities in accordance with policies, SOPs, and regulations while maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Detect and escalate risks that could affect case integrity, turnaround times, provider experience, or patient care.
• Record case activities and interactions with stakeholders in CRM and internal systems.
• Communicate trends, challenges, and potential improvements related to cases to internal teams.
• Share operational insights and best practices to enhance execution and consistency.
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement enhancements.
• Assist with consent and documentation processes, along with special case requirements.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain accountability for company tools, systems, and equipment.
• Tailor communication styles, on-site presence, daily engagement, schedules, coverage windows, escalation pathways, and interaction frequency to meet client-site needs within approved parameters.
• Travel periodically, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in healthcare or diagnostics.
• More than 3 years of provider-facing or customer-facing experience in clinical settings.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in real-time situations.
• Familiarity with clinic-based workflows and healthcare delivery environments.
• Capability to learn and effectively utilize proprietary systems and platforms.
• Proven ability to manage complex workflows.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in oncology, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine is preferred.
• Background in supporting physicians in clinical settings is preferred.
• Experience in managing end-to-end case workflows is preferred.
• Preferred experience in cross-functional collaboration with care teams.
• Awareness of compliance and regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR and clinical systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in a clinical or office-based environment.
• PHI access is required.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent cases with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Capability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Periodic travel is required, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Must have the ability to perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Successful completion of pre-employment criminal background check, drug screening, applicable credit check, and reference verification.
• Annual hiring range of $70,000 - $90,000 base salary.
