This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of email and SMS campaigns, encompassing scheduling, creative development, testing, deployment, and performance evaluation.
• Spearhead the creation of campaigns, which includes designing templates, image slicing, placing creative elements, selecting audiences, conducting quality assurance, and facilitating deployment.
• Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, and Analytics/CRM teams to execute campaign strategies effectively.
• Develop and manage the monthly schedule for email and SMS communications.
• Oversee daily quality assurance processes with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Track, analyze, and report on metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and emerging trends.
• Design and implement A/B tests for subject lines, content, sending times, and creative assets.
• Lead the adoption of AI tools for drafting copy, audience segmentation, quality assurance, and reporting tasks.
• Test new tools to enhance campaign workflows during peak periods while maintaining brand integrity.
• Incorporate customer insights to enhance audience segmentation expertise.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, and others that apply.
• Remain updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in email and SMS marketing.
• Promote process enhancements across teams.
• Establish ownership of the campaign calendar, set up A/B testing schedules, and implement at least one AI-driven process within the first six months.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of practical experience in email marketing.
• Demonstrated experience using generative AI tools or AI features within email/SMS platforms to enhance productivity and outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to convert campaign data into actionable insights.
• Knowledge of email marketing regulations such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage several campaigns at once.
• A curious mindset and a readiness to experiment, combined with sound judgment in determining when human review and brand voice are crucial.
