This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of email marketing for five consumer-facing insurance brands throughout a six-month project.
• Collaborate with the head of digital marketing to establish email strategy.
• Create and manage a continuous promotional, retention, and nurture email calendar.
• Suggest sending frequency by brand, segment, and season.
• Identify campaign opportunities associated with launches, seasonal demand, renewals, and promotions.
• Highlight cross-sell and upsell opportunities while managing cross-brand suppression.
• Craft subject lines, preview text, body content, and calls to action.
• Tailor copy and voice for various brand audiences.
• Collaborate with brand stakeholders on creative assets and routing.
• Design, build, write, and quality assure triggered lifecycle programs and automations.
• Document automation logic, triggers, delays, branches, suppression rules, and exit criteria.
• Develop and maintain segmentation based on behavior, product or policy type, lifecycle stage, geography, and engagement.
• Monitor list health and implement remediation, sunset, and re-engagement campaigns.
• Oversee inbox placement, sending-domain reputation, authentication, and compliance with bulk-sender regulations.
• Create and troubleshoot responsive email HTML/CSS and ensure proper rendering across clients, devices, and dark mode.
• Manage sending-domain warm-up and volume ramp plans.
• Apply email accessibility principles.
• Report on email engagement, conversion rates, revenue or bound-policy contributions, unsubscribe rates, and deliverability metrics.
• Maintain UTM taxonomy and reconcile performance in GA4, call tracking, and Salesforce attribution.
• Provide weekly performance snapshots and monthly summaries with prioritized action items.
• Analyze underperforming sends and propose specific improvements.
• Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and GDPR/CASL regulations.
• Route insurance copy for compliance review.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Required hands-on experience with Campaign Monitor, including independent creation of segments, dynamic content, journeys/automations, custom fields, list imports, and templates.
• Over 4 years of experience in email marketing execution and strategy, including lifecycle and triggered programs.
• Proven ability to write conversion-driven email content and adjust voice for distinct audiences; portfolio or work samples are necessary.
• Basic knowledge of email HTML/CSS.
• Practical understanding of deliverability, including SPF/DKIM/DMARC, reputation management, list hygiene, and bulk sender requirements for Gmail/Yahoo.
• Familiarity with GA4 and UTM-based attribution.
• Experience in conducting structured A/B tests and analyzing results.
• Awareness of CAN-SPAM and TCPA regulations.
• Capability to manage competing priorities across multiple brands or business units with minimal supervision.
