Elementary Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Provide live, virtual tutoring sessions to students in both 1:1 and small-group formats.

• Foster a safe, enjoyable, and engaging virtual classroom environment.

• Utilize the provided curriculum to facilitate interactive and goal-oriented learning.

• Tailor instruction to address the individual needs of each student.

• Administer scheduled assessments as outlined.

• Maintain professional communication with the Framework Tutor Operations Team.

• Deliver tutoring in K–5 Mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA).

• Conduct sessions lasting between 15 to 60 minutes via a secure online platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A current and valid U.S. teaching license in General Education, Mathematics, or ELA; expired licenses will not be considered.

• Additional Special Education (SpEd) or English as a Second Language (ESL) certification is advantageous.

• Availability Monday to Friday, weekly from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM EST; all five days are required.

• A reliable computer equipped with a microphone and camera, stable internet connection, and a quiet workspace.

• Capability to pass a federal background check, which may include fingerprinting.

• Proficiency in using online teaching tools and platforms.

• Prior experience in online tutoring is preferred.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.

• Must be a legal resident of the U.S. and able to live and work in the country.
