This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the installation, initiation, and commissioning of process equipment and utility systems at Daniels Health treatment facilities throughout North America.
β’ Create installation plans, timelines, and project execution strategies for facility expansions, enhancements, and new constructions.
β’ Collaborate with contractors, vendors, project managers, and operations teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
β’ Oversee procurement, technical evaluation, and integration of equipment such as autoclaves, wash systems, boilers, compactors, compressors, conveyors, and supporting utilities.
β’ Analyze and verify mechanical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, submittals, and field modifications to guarantee installation quality and adherence to standards.
β’ Address mechanical, electrical, and controls-related challenges during installation and startup, facilitating prompt resolution and system enhancement.
β’ Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, LOTO, and site safety protocols while aiding operator training, documentation, and CMMS implementation.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial equipment installation, manufacturing engineering, facility construction, maintenance, field service, or commissioning settings.
β’ Strong mechanical skills with experience in working on industrial machinery, including conveyors, drives, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
β’ Basic understanding of industrial electrical systems, motors, sensors, relays, control circuits, and safe troubleshooting practices.
β’ Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, automation systems, and industrial controls; capable of following I/O, diagnosing equipment issues, and assisting in startup processes.
β’ Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
β’ Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and project coordination abilities, with a capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
β’ Willingness to travel 50-60% of the time.
