This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Deliver on-site servicing, installation, maintenance, and repair for intricate electromechanical equipment.
• Respond to service inquiries and assist operators with operational or maintenance difficulties.
• Handle escalated technical and service-related issues.
• Diagnose failures in mechanical, hardware, software, and systems.
• Execute effective repairs to reduce downtime.
• Generate reports analyzing product failure trends and serviceability challenges.
• Conduct administrative duties including record-keeping, reporting, and managing inventory.
• Oversee parts inventory and coordinate shipments for repairs and restocking.
• Manage inventory of tools and testing equipment.
• Document maintenance activities using approved methodologies and procedures.
• Adhere to escalation protocols and engage with company personnel and customer management.
• Foster high customer satisfaction through transparent communication and proactive attention to client needs.
• Support on-site training for junior field service technicians.
• Provide coverage for other Field Engineers during vacations or illnesses.
• Travel within the designated territory or to other locations as necessary.
• Conduct all activities safely and comply with company safety regulations.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, including at least two years in a field service setting.
• Practical experience with electromechanical equipment is crucial.
• Prior experience in customer-facing positions is essential.
• Expertise in electromechanical troubleshooting is required.
• Familiarity with electronic principles is necessary.
• Proficient knowledge of computer systems, PCs, and networking.
• Capability to utilize a laptop/tablet for administrative and diagnostic purposes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to provide personal information and obtain Gaming Licenses in necessary jurisdictions for Commercial Field Service Technicians.
• Readiness to use a personal vehicle if required for business purposes.
• Flexibility regarding shift work is important.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to adhere to confidentiality, customer protocols, and Custody and Control Procedures.
• Capability to follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Structured training programs, on-site training, and hands-on experience.
• Option for home office-based work.
• A company fleet vehicle may be provided based on business requirements.
