Electrician Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise daily ESC electrical operations across designated markets

• Lead, support, and hold ESC Electricians and electrical support staff accountable for their performance

• Coordinate field coverage, manage workloads, set priorities, and assess manpower needs

• Ensure that electrical service and corrective work is performed safely, accurately, and efficiently

• Provide technical assistance for complex electrical troubleshooting and field-related issues

• Support service requests, electrical corrections, inspection discrepancies, and post-installation challenges

• Assist teams with main panel upgrades, equipment replacements, system corrections, and various residential electrical tasks

• Track open electrical work and proactively tackle issues that may impact completion schedules

• Ensure compliance of electrical work with relevant NEC, state, and local regulations

• Review fieldwork for quality, thoroughness, and adherence to codes

• Identify recurring electrical deficiencies and implement appropriate corrective measures

• Conduct or coordinate quality control reviews and field audits

• Ensure projects are adequately prepared for electrical inspections

• Collaborate with AHJs and inspectors to address electrical deficiencies as needed

• Uphold stringent safety standards across ESC field operations

• Partner with ESC Scheduling to prioritize and allocate electrical work

• Coordinate with Service, Inspections, Installation, Permitting, Construction Operations, and other departments to resolve project challenges

• Monitor technician productivity, job completion, documentation, and field performance

• Mentor and develop electricians and electrical support personnel

• Identify training requirements and enhance technical skills across the team

• Ensure field documentation, photographs, notes, and completion records are accurate and timely

• Escalate significant operational, safety, or compliance issues to leadership

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive residential electrical experience

• Prior experience leading electricians, service technicians, or electrical field teams

• Deep understanding of residential electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques

• Comprehensive knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical inspection procedures

• Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex electrical challenges

• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical plans and one-line diagrams

• Strong leadership and team development skills in the field

• Ability to manage multiple technicians, projects, and priorities concurrently

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities

• Capability to work effectively across various operational departments

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license is preferred

• Preferred experience in residential solar electrical work

• Preferred background in electrical service or corrective work leadership

• Experience with main panel upgrades and residential service equipment is preferred

• Familiarity with battery storage systems is preferred

• Experience supporting operations across multiple markets is preferred

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred

• NABCEP certification is preferred

• Primarily available Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturday and after-hours availability based on operational requirements
