This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.
β’ Lead, coordinate, and plan strategic Smart Grid IT projects from the commissioning phase through to a successful go-live.
β’ Manage both internal and external stakeholders while overseeing all phases of the project.
β’ Monitor project schedules, budgets, and uphold quality standards.
β’ Ensure the seamless integration of Venios.NET into current IT environments.
β’ Collaborate effectively with development teams, customer departments, and external service providers.
β’ Assist in testing and the rollout of new features.
β’ Identify potential project risks and formulate suitable mitigation strategies.
β’ Recognize customer needs and provide insights for the ongoing development of Venios.NET.
β’ A completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar qualification, with proven knowledge in electrical engineering.
β’ Several years of experience in project management, specifically in implementing software projects, preferably within the energy sector.
β’ IPMA certification or an equivalent project management credential is preferred, or a willingness to obtain such a certification.
β’ Extensive experience in the construction and operation of electrical distribution networks is preferred.
β’ Strong IT proficiency coupled with a solid inclination towards software development.
β’ Familiarity with technical guidelines, regulations, and contractual obligations.
β’ Excellent communication skills that are empathetic and suitable for various audiences, along with the ability to effectively manage conflicts.
β’ A structured, analytical, and goal-oriented approach to work, with a dedication to continuous improvement.
β’ A proactive, persistent, and solution-oriented mindset, demonstrating a high level of resilience and enthusiasm for change.
β’ A strong team player mentality.
β’ Proficient in English and very good command of German.
β’ Residency in or authorization to work in Germany or Austria.
