Electrical Designer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Create, draft, and publish electrical construction documents for data centers and distinguished commercial projects.

• Execute drafting tasks under the supervision of project managers and engineers, ensuring adherence to project specifications.

• Guarantee that projects are finalized accurately, efficiently, and within set timeframes.

• Develop and uphold company-specific AutoCAD standards and technical specifications.

• Work collaboratively with project teams to address design issues and enhance drafting workflows.

• Perform quality checks to verify accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

• Assist with project documentation, including design modifications, as-built drawings, and technical submissions.

• Aid in the integration of Revit models and BIM coordination when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience as an electrical designer/drafter.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.

• Capacity to collaborate within a team setting with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers.

• Must excel in a fast-paced environment, be driven by deadlines, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Experience with Revit is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Familiarity with principles in the engineering and construction sector is preferred.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
