This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.
• Develop, draft, and publish electrical construction documentation for data centers and prominent commercial projects.
• Execute drafting tasks under the guidance of project managers and engineers, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Guarantee that projects are finished accurately, efficiently, and within set timelines.
• Establish and maintain company-specific AutoCAD standards and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to address design issues and enhance drafting processes.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure precision and adherence to industry standards.
• Assist with project documentation, including design modifications, as-built drawings, and technical submissions.
• Aid in the integration of Revit models and BIM coordination when relevant.
• Proven experience as an electrical designer/drafter.
• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers.
• Capacity to excel in a dynamic environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience with Revit is advantageous.
• Familiarity with engineering and construction principles is preferred.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
