EIT Hub Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and promote the activities of EIT Hub UK as a key global outreach center for EIT.

• Position the Hub as a vital link between the innovation ecosystems of Europe and the UK.

• Implement and enhance the programme portfolio of EIT Hub UK.

• Oversee budget planning and execution in alignment with Horizon Europe regulations.

• Create a network and community of stakeholders, including start-ups from the UK and EU.

• Engage new partners, opportunities, and clients for the Hub through events and networking initiatives.

• Establish business models to ensure the Hub's financial viability.

• Provide reports to the EIT Community and EIT Urban Mobility’s Hub West Management.

• Assist EIT initiatives within the UK ecosystem and facilitate connections between UK and EU stakeholders.

• Increase awareness of EIT in the UK and enhance opportunities for engagement in the UK market.

• Monitor, communicate, and share case studies and success stories.

• Coordinate programs tailored to connect the UK market with European partners.

• Act as the primary contact point for pan-European and British stakeholders in relation to EIT Community programmes in the UK.

• Collaborate with both internal and external partners across the UK and various European regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6-8 years of management experience in innovation programs, accelerators, venture capital, or similar fields.

• Demonstrated experience in team and people management.

• At least a Bachelor's degree; a Master's or MBA is preferred.

• In-depth involvement with the UK innovation ecosystem.

• Strong, active connections with local capital sources for potential developments.

• Experience in international business development and project management, ideally within the European market.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive initiatives within a complex organization.

• Tech-savvy with excellent communication skills.

• Results-oriented, practical, creative, and quick-thinking.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Familiarity with Horizon Europe implementation rules, project delivery, and reporting requirements is a plus.

• Experience with Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) is advantageous.

• Experience in a multinational, multicultural environment is desirable.

• Must be a UK national or possess a valid work permit for the United Kingdom.

• Must enjoy full citizenship rights.
