This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
β’ Deliver extensive EHS leadership across all departments and for all employees.
β’ Manage environmental, health, and safety systems, policies, procedures, safety initiatives, and programs.
β’ Foster a culture where safety is regarded as a core value.
β’ Design and execute safety policies and procedures in alignment with OSHA regulations.
β’ Create and standardize impactful EHS training and communication for both employees and managers.
β’ Formulate and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs, including annual Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and individual safety program assessments.
β’ Relay health and safety concerns, along with divisional EHS performance and compliance evaluations, to the Director of EHS and the VP of EHS.
β’ Perform compliance audits and inspections.
β’ Generate audit findings and confirm the completion of necessary follow-up actions.
β’ Evaluate the safety, health, and environmental implications of new processes and equipment, establishing objectives accordingly.
β’ Monitor EHS regulations, standards, and reporting obligations, assessing their impact on operations.
β’ Develop and sustain internal assessments and inspections to facilitate compliance and self-governance.
β’ Implement, audit, and consistently enhance the focus site program.
β’ Create, assess, and maintain the knowledge center within the 4Insite software program.
β’ Oversee employees, which includes interviewing, hiring, assigning tasks, conducting performance evaluations, providing training, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving complaints and issues.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business Management or a related discipline from an accredited four-year institution, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience equivalent.
β’ A valid driverβs license may be necessary.
β’ Capability to satisfactorily perform all essential duties.
β’ Ability to travel to various work locations, client sites, or company facilities as required.
β’ Regular travel is expected; approximately 50% travel.
β’ Familiarity with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations.
β’ Understanding of EHS regulations, accepted standards, and reporting obligations.
β’ Experience in supervisory and employee management roles.
β’ Ability to regularly sit, frequently walk, occasionally stand, and use hands for various tasks.
