This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define, manage, execute, and oversee Learning and Assessment projects and initiatives.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements to enhance engagement, learning, and retention.
• Ensure training materials and programs remain current, accurate, and effective.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of instructional design, training methods, tools, and techniques.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and manage item banks/exam content systems.
• Generate statistical data to inform and report on training and content development activities.
• Employ diverse training methods tailored to different audiences.
• Conduct or facilitate necessary and recommended training sessions.
• Ensure that training milestones and objectives are achieved within the approved budget.
• Foster working relationships with department and division staff, volunteers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Adhere to ANSI processes and procedures for organizational accreditation.
• Partner with internal and external audiences, cross-divisional stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
• Perform additional assigned duties.
• Bachelor’s Degree, Certification, or equivalent in Education/Training, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in training diverse audiences, both virtually and in-person.
• At least one year of experience in an education or assessment-related organization is preferred.
• Strong foundation in instructional design and adult learning theory.
• Proficient in writing clear, logical, and grammatically correct communications and training documents.
• Excellent facilitation skills across various situations and delivery methods.
• Ability to utilize data to generate meaningful insights.
• Capability to inspire and motivate staff and volunteers.
• Experience with instructional design tools, including Articulate Storyline/360 and other e-learning platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and project management tools, such as Asana, is desirable.
• Understanding of Learning Management Systems.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong leadership, flexibility, collaboration, organizational skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and customer experience assessment abilities.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude even under stressful conditions.
• Fully remote or approved remote setting.
• Opportunities and requirements for evening/weekend work and travel.
