Editor/Storyboard Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop performance-oriented storyboards for social media and paid advertising campaigns.

• Outline the complete visual narrative for each advertisement, detailing elements such as talking head, B-roll, actions, hooks, and on-screen text.

• Clearly specify the actions and expressions of the actor at every moment.

• Offer precise guidance to editors, including the use of stock footage, AI-generated content, and motion graphics.

• Create compelling hooks, angles, and ad formats informed by current performance metrics.

• Conceptualize moments that capture attention, interrupt patterns, and enhance viewer retention.

• Refine concepts based on performance analytics and creative feedback.

• Stay updated on trends, formats, and successful advertising strategies within DTC and direct-response sectors.

• Collaborate with marketing teams, editors, and copywriters to optimize outcomes.

• Edit advertisements as necessary using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in storyboarding for advertisements.

• Background in working with DTC brands or user-generated content formats.

• Strong grasp of performance marketing and direct-response strategies.

• Knowledge of essential performance metrics (hook rate, hold rate, retention).

• Keen instinct for what is appropriate for each platform.

• Awareness of current trends and advertising formats.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools (such as avatars, voice, generative video, etc.).

• Strong editing capabilities with Premiere Pro and After Effects.

• Excellent command of written English (clear, concise, and focused on conversion).

• Ability to work efficiently, iterate quickly, and manage multiple concepts at once.
