EDI Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as the subject matter expert for SavvyStock systems and applications.

• Lead and assist in global system projects encompassing design, development, implementation, testing, training, and deployment.

• Evaluate business requirements and document both current and future system processes.

• Create training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.

• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and distributor partners to provide system solutions and enhance operations.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and suggest scalable system improvements.

• Oversee system performance and resolve production-related issues.

• Offer Tier 1 support through root cause analysis and problem-solving.

• Share technical expertise and provide global user training.

• Assist in planning and optimization strategies utilizing system capabilities.

• Deliver operational and analytical support, including detailed analysis and EDI transaction mapping.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Supply Chain, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• 3-5 years of experience with EDI and VMI in a Supply Chain setting.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis, and reporting.

• Working knowledge of SQL and experience with EDI, VMI, IT systems, and distribution operations.

• Advanced SQL knowledge is a plus.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, and related business applications.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues, analyze data, and devise effective, scalable solutions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capacity to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage global time zones.

• Ability to excel in fast-paced, high-volume environments while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Willingness to support on-call, evening, and weekend operational needs as necessary.
