This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Serve as the primary contact for EIT Health in the Central region.
• Connect EIT Health with members and relevant stakeholders within health innovation ecosystems.
• Actively foster collaboration throughout the region.
• Identify regional opportunities and challenges, analyzing and emphasizing pertinent developments.
• Function as an expert and initial point of contact for regional matters.
• Engage in regular travel within the region.
• Contribute regional mechanisms, priorities, and support offerings for health innovations to EIT Health's planning and program execution.
• Enhance the visibility of EIT Health’s program portfolio, initiatives, and impact in the region.
• Advocate for and highlight the contributions of EIT Health members to healthcare innovation.
• Collaborate with New Business Development to identify and negotiate opportunities for expanding EIT Health’s regional involvement.
• Provide guidance and support to regional EIT Health members regarding access to EIT Health and EU or regionally funded programs.
• Represent EIT Health within the region.
• Lead assigned team members and manage virtual teams both functionally and disciplinarily.
• Promote collaboration among EIT Health, members, and other health ecosystem stakeholders.
• Assist the Head of Ecosystem Management with member relations.
• Maintain up-to-date member lists, contact information, and engagement records across regions and locations.
• Identify, document, and communicate regional successes and contributions to impact through EIT Health’s communication channels.
• Actively enhance regional activities and EIT Health’s presence.
• A minimum of 8–10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience working with senior-level stakeholders.
• A robust network within the health innovation ecosystem.
• Experience in business development, member acquisition, and key account management.
• Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in at least one national health innovation ecosystem.
• Familiarity with regional and EU funding environments.
• Understanding of the processes and dynamics of healthcare innovation.
• Ability to identify and capitalize on suitable synergies and opportunities.
• Must be based in the Munich area or southern Germany.
• Proficient in both German and English.
