This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Support Public Affairs in evaluating economic development incentives across STACK’s portfolio.
• Investigate market- and site-specific incentives, tax frameworks, grants, workforce initiatives, infrastructure programs, and other public-sector resources.
• Organize information and documentation for incentive applications, negotiations, agreements, approvals, and project milestones.
• Assist in managing relationships with state and local economic development organizations, government agencies, utilities, and other external partners.
• Create presentations, briefing documents, and communications related to incentive opportunities, project progress, and economic development initiatives.
• Maintain project documentation, trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools that cover active opportunities, commitments, compliance obligations, and deadlines.
• Contribute to special projects, market analysis, and strategic initiatives as requested by Public Affairs leadership.
• Collaborate with teams in Development, Site Strategy, Tax, Finance, Legal, Utility, Construction, and Public Affairs.
• A bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, public policy, political science, real estate, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience; experience in economic development, government, consulting, real estate, finance, tax, infrastructure, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience or a demonstrated interest in data centers, energy, infrastructure, real estate development, or similar industries is preferred.
• Excellent research and organizational skills, including the ability to review and summarize tax, incentive, policy, and project-related information.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and the ability to maintain precise documentation and tracking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with state and local government processes, economic development organizations, or public-sector incentives is preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential or sensitive project information with discretion.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (<15%) for site visits, partner meetings, or project-related engagements.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must successfully pass a comprehensive background and drug screening.
