Early Childhood Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Deliver culturally responsive relationship-based professional development (RBPD) and coaching for early care and education environments, including childcare centers and family childcare providers across Minnesota.

• Foster and support collaboration among families, providers, community programs, and organizations.

• Offer coaching through modeling, goal setting, reflection, and resource sharing, with an emphasis on inclusion, health and safety, and best practices for infants and toddlers.

• Collaborate with early childhood educators to co-create and execute action plans aimed at achieving ongoing objectives.

• Help those being coached to organize environments, routines, and interactions that promote positive social-emotional outcomes for children and families.

• Link programs, families, and individuals to CICC resources and/or community partners to facilitate access to external support.

• Travel up to 50%, usually within one or two hours from your home base, with statewide travel as necessary and occasional overnight stays.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing direct service in early childhood education.

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or a related discipline.

• Must have and maintain a valid Minnesota state driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

• Successful completion of pre-employment screening.

• At least 3 years of experience in mentoring, coaching, consultation, or technical assistance.

• Familiarity with Minnesota childcare licensing and programmatic requirements within the early care and education system in Minnesota.

• Must be physically capable of independently operating your own vehicle and traveling throughout the region, and statewide as required, which may occasionally involve overnight stays.

• Proficiency in English and Spanish.

• Day shift availability, Monday through Friday.
