EAP Care Advocate – Licensed Counselor/Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer Guidance, Support, Consultation, and Referrals to Covered Employees and Their Dependents

• Perform a Thorough Clinical Assessment, Including Identifying Presenting Issues, Work-Life Challenges, and Screening for Risk and Safety Concerns

• Create an Individualized Care Plan to Address the Distinct Clinical and Sub-Clinical Needs of Each Participant

• Facilitate Referrals and Aid Participants in Securing Appointments for Short-Term EAP Counseling

• Provide Mental Health Advocacy and Navigation for Participants Requiring Higher Levels of Care

• Assist with Referrals to Other Employer-Sponsored Health Management Resources When Necessary

• Engage in Active Case Management, Including Treatment Plan Reviews

• Conduct Timely Follow-Ups with Participants to Ensure Connection to Care, Program Satisfaction, and Assess the Outcome and Impact of EAP Services

• Maintain Accurate and Comprehensive Records in Compliance with HIPAA, Ethical Standards, and Departmental Guidelines

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree in a Mental Health Discipline (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)

• Relevant Post-Graduate Clinical Experience

• Clinical Licensure

• Familiarity and Comfort with Technology for Remote Training and Work (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Contact Management Systems, Web-Based Software, Soft Phone)

• Strong Analytical Skills – Ability to Gather Data, Establish Facts, Define Problems, and Draw Valid Conclusions

• Capacity to Succeed in a Fast-Paced, Fully Remote Work Environment

• Previous EAP and/or Case Management Experience is a Plus
