EAP Care Advocate – Licensed Counselor/Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Offer guidance, support, consultation, and referrals to eligible employees and their dependents.

• Perform thorough clinical assessments, including the identification of presenting issues, work-life challenges, and risk and safety concerns.

• Create tailored care plans that address the clinical and sub-clinical needs of each participant.

• Coordinate referrals and aid participants in scheduling appointments for short-term EAP counseling.

• Provide mental health advocacy and support for participants requiring higher levels of care.

• Assist with referrals to additional employer-sponsored health management resources.

• Engage in active case management, which includes reviewing treatment plans.

• Execute timely follow-ups to ensure participants are connected to care, satisfied with the program, and to assess EAP service outcomes and impact.

• Keep accurate and complete records in accordance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and departmental policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in a mental health field, such as social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy.

• Relevant post-graduate clinical experience.

• Clinical licensure is required.

• Proficiency and comfort with technology for remote work, including Microsoft Office Suite, contact management systems, web-based applications, and soft phone.

• Strong analytical skills: ability to gather data, establish facts, define problems, and draw logical conclusions.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, fully remote work setting.

• Previous experience in EAP and/or case management is an advantage.
