This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +2 more countries.
⢠Conduct comprehensive manual QA testing on live e-commerce storefronts, focusing specifically on U.S. customer experiences.
⢠Evaluate complete customer journeys that encompass the homepage, navigation, search, collections, product detail pages, cart, checkout, and other essential shopping processes.
⢠Test storefronts across various platforms, including desktop, mobile web, Android, iOS, and major web browsers.
⢠Execute a range of testing types including functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, usability, end-to-end, responsive, cross-browser, and cross-device testing.
⢠Detect subtle functional defects, edge cases, visual discrepancies, broken interactions, and user experience challenges.
⢠Assess websites from the perspective of actual customers, taking into account various user interactions and potential friction or unexpected behaviors.
⢠Analyze issues across different browsers, devices, screen sizes, user journeys, and scenarios to ascertain when and how problems arise.
⢠Identify challenges affecting product visibility, navigation, customer experience, checkout processes, conversion rates, or the overall reliability of the storefront.
⢠Document findings with evidence such as screenshots and screen recordings, providing context for issue reproduction.
⢠Compile concise, structured QA reports that detail the issues, their impact on customers, reproduction steps, and the discrepancy between expected and actual behavior.
⢠Recognize patterns and recurring issues across various storefronts.
⢠Practical experience in conducting manual QA testing on live, customer-facing e-commerce websites.
⢠Prior experience testing e-commerce, retail, or direct-to-consumer storefronts, preferably for consumer brands.
⢠Familiarity with testing a U.S. e-commerce storefront or engaging with U.S.-specific online retail experiences.
⢠Robust experience in evaluating customer journeys, including browsing, searching, product pages, cart, checkout, and related purchasing flows.
⢠Proficient in testing across desktop, mobile web, Android, iOS, and various browsers.
⢠Strong exploratory testing mentality, with the capability to go beyond standard paths and predefined test cases.
⢠Ability to independently investigate, replicate, document, and communicate issues with minimal supervision.
⢠Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capability to produce clear and professional QA reports.
⢠Availability to work full-time during U.S. business hours, approximately 9:00 a.m.ā5:00 p.m. ET.
⢠Preferred: Experience with direct-to-consumer, retail, fashion, beauty, apparel, consumer goods, or other online consumer brands.
⢠Preferred: Knowledge of UX/UI principles and digital customer experience.
⢠Preferred: Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, or digital experimentation.
⢠Preferred: Ability to identify visual or user experience issues beyond traditional functional defects.
⢠Preferred: Experience using Jira, TestRail, TestLodge, BrowserStack, or similar QA and bug-tracking tools.
⢠Preferred: Understanding of browser Developer Tools, console errors, network requests, or basic API testing.
⢠Preferred: Previous experience preparing client-facing QA reports or testing summaries.
