Dynamics 365 Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Oversee Dynamics 365 implementations encompassing discovery, definition, design, build, testing, deployment, and go-live phases.

• Serve as the main Solution Architect, Design, Compliance, and Governance contact throughout the project lifecycle.

• Create scalable, secure, maintainable, and business-aligned architectures for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

• Offer technical expertise in Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Customer Insights.

• Evaluate business and technical requirements and convert them into Dynamics 365 solutions.

• Encourage an Out-of-the-Box mindset while minimizing unnecessary customizations.

• Outline solution specifications and architectural standards in collaboration with development and technical teams.

• Ensure that architectural decisions are in line with Microsoft best practices and enterprise standards.

• Facilitate discovery workshops and consultations with Business Analysts and stakeholders.

• Transform business processes and requirements into functional and technical solution designs.

• Provide advisory services to clients regarding technology choices, integrations, solution strategies, and platform capabilities.

• Maintain architectural oversight and technical governance during implementation.

• Manage technical risks, issues, dependencies, and architectural decisions.

• Assist delivery teams in meeting timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

• Develop and enhance Dynamics 365 implementation standards, frameworks, methodologies, and tools.

• Review proposed solutions and ensure quality assurance.

• Conduct client-facing workshops, architecture discussions, technical consultations, and demonstrations.

• Clarify complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Establish long-term trusted-advisor relationships with clients.

• Support Sales Teams and Sales Specialists with opportunities, Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, estimates, tenders, RFPs, bids, and demonstrations.

• Mentor and guide Dynamics 365 consultants and technical team members.

• Share knowledge, architectural standards, technical approaches, and best practices for Dynamics 365.

• Collaborate with peer architects and technical specialists across D365, Power Platform, AI, and Data.

• Contribute to technology reviews and the Digital Practice's technical strategy.

• Identify opportunities to utilize Microsoft technologies for enhanced client solutions.

• Remain updated on Microsoft product roadmaps, platform capabilities, architecture patterns, and industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Dynamics 365 Solution Architect.

• Extensive experience in designing and delivering intricate Dynamics 365 implementations.

• Profound expertise in Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Customer Insights.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform and its integration with Dynamics 365.

• Proven track record of leading architecture and design activities throughout the complete project lifecycle.

• Experience in direct interactions with clients and senior business stakeholders.

• Solid understanding of solution architecture, technical governance, integration, security, scalability, and enterprise application design.

• Experience collaborating with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, Sales Teams, and other technical specialists.

• Strong pre-sales experience encompassing SOWs, tender responses, RFPs, demonstrations, and solution proposals.

• Proven capability to mentor and cultivate other consultants and technical professionals.

• A third-level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform certifications are highly desirable, particularly those aligned with Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, Microsoft Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 Solution Architecture.

• Familiarity with AI and Data technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Experience with enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 transformation programs.

• Experience designing integrations between Dynamics 365 and third-party enterprise applications.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure-based integration services.

• Experience supporting large-scale private or public sector organizations.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft product roadmaps and emerging Dynamics 365 capabilities.

• Experience in developing internal architecture standards, frameworks, and implementation accelerators.

• Previous experience within a Microsoft-focused consultancy or technology services environment.

• Ability to work within the CET timezone (±3 hours).

• Successful completion of Castille Vetting (background/compliance checks).
