Dynamics 365 Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and provide support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, with an emphasis on Operations and Supply Chain Management.

• Evaluate business needs and convert them into D365 configurations and solutions.

• Set up and maintain modules for procurement, inventory, warehouse management, production, planning, logistics, and order management.

• Comprehend operational challenges and suggest process enhancements in collaboration with business users.

• Engage in the implementation, enhancement, customization, and deployment of D365 SCM and Operations solutions.

• Manage functional requirements by gathering information, designing solutions, testing, deploying, and providing post-go-live support.

• Work alongside technical teams on integrations, customizations, workflows, reports, and data migration.

• Detect system issues, conduct root-cause analyses, and facilitate resolutions.

• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), regression testing, test scenarios, and documentation.

• Align D365 processes with business policies, operational needs, and industry best practices.

• Aid in data migration, master data management, system upgrades, and release management.

• Develop functional specifications, process documentation, user manuals, and training materials.

• Monitor system performance and pinpoint opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Sales, Warehouse, Manufacturing, IT, and Operations teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–12 years of pertinent experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Extensive hands-on experience with D365 Operations.

• Strong functional expertise in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM).

• Proficient in Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Master Planning, Production Control, and Sales & Distribution.

• Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and their execution within D365.

• Experience in gathering requirements, functional design, configuration, testing, and production support.

• Capability to troubleshoot D365 functional issues and collaborate effectively with technical teams.

• Experience in converting business needs into scalable D365 solutions.

• Familiarity with D365 integrations, workflows, security roles, data entities, and reporting.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Good-to-have: Experience with Power Platform, Power BI, Power Automate, D365 Finance & Operations architecture, integration frameworks, D365 implementation or migration projects, Agile/Scrum methodologies, relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications, and global implementations.
