This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Collaborate with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives and achieve annual production objectives.
β’ Work alongside the Fannie Mae Customer Engagement team regarding waiver requests, pricing, and transaction structuring.
β’ Supervise underwriting and closing operations to ensure alignment with origination goals and credit standards.
β’ Manage a portfolio of Fannie Mae and balance sheet loans, which includes permanent, construction, and bridge financing.
β’ Evaluate, size, and quote new loan requests to enhance turnaround times and increase deal capture rates.
β’ Engage in the processing and closing of Fannie Mae loans to foster collaboration and enhance client satisfaction.
β’ Create and sustain client, broker, and property-level databases to bolster pipeline stability.
β’ Nurture internal referral connections through branch networks and other departments.
β’ Assist Relationship Managers with marketing, waiver/pricing requests, and asset management challenges.
β’ Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and competitive dynamics to guide business decisions.
β’ Contribute to projects of varying complexity based on skills and organizational priorities.
β’ Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in Banking, Finance, or a related field.
β’ At least 7 years of experience in multifamily agency lending, including Fannie Mae DUS programs.
β’ Strong credit training and expertise in underwriting.
β’ Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and loan portfolios effectively.
β’ Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.
β’ Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines efficiently.
β’ Proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of Fannie Mae DUS program guidelines and agency lending procedures.
β’ Strong credit analysis and underwriting skills specifically for multifamily transactions.
β’ Proficient in managing loan portfolios and supporting origination efforts.
β’ Leadership skills to effectively guide underwriting and closing teams.
β’ Strategic thinker with the ability to implement initiatives aligned with business objectives.
β’ Advanced relationship-building and negotiation skills with clients and internal stakeholders.
β’ Capacity to balance risk management with growth goals.
β’ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities effectively.
