This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide expert assessments related to DSEAR and advise clients on necessary corrective actions to ensure compliance with the DSEAR Regulations 2002 and ACOP L138.

• Offer comprehensive DSEAR consultancy services from start to finish.

• Execute hazardous area classification and select equipment in accordance with ATEX standards.

• Create practical engineering solutions tailored to client needs.

• Develop prioritized action plans, hazardous area classification schedules, and zone drawings as required.

• Guarantee that all work aligns with SOCOTEC standards, policies, and client specifications.

• Communicate directly with clients to convey findings and foster trustworthy relationships.

• Remain updated on changes in legislation and industry best practices.

• Collaborate effectively on multi-disciplinary projects while also working independently.

• Continuously enhance professional skills and contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in working with and advising on DSEAR regulations.

• Experience in preparing hazardous area classification schedules and making mark-ups for hazardous area drawings.

• Familiarity with ATEX equipment selection processes.

• Understanding of ignition risks associated with mechanical sources.

• Strong technical, customer service, and communication capabilities.

• Ability to deliver practical, client-centered advice.

• Highly organized and proactive in approach.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
