Dropship and AIT Delivery Process Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance the consignment drop ship and AIT delivery processes.

• Ensure effective material transit from suppliers to points of use, achieving strong delivery performance and minimizing aged in-transit inventory.

• Assess standard work, procedures, and process documentation; identify deficiencies and implement improvements.

• Develop and uphold operating procedures, work instructions, and standard work templates.

• Oversee consignment shipment activities and inventory management.

• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to guarantee timely deliveries, address issues, and execute tasks accurately.

• Facilitate coordination among suppliers, procurement, logistics, production, and manufacturing teams.

• Lead the onboarding and offboarding process for suppliers involved in consignment drop ship programs.

• Analyze shipment, inventory, and delivery data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Offer actionable insights to enhance performance, lower costs, and boost process reliability.

• Generate performance reports and relay operational insights to management.

• Provide training, coaching, and daily guidance regarding drop ship processes and standard work.

• Oversee assigned contracted resources and manage work priorities.

• Maintain and enhance the Supply Chain Standard Work hub for Integrated Manufacturing.

• Engage in operational rhythms and address cross-functional operational challenges through data analysis and collaboration.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to FLIGHT DECK principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED combined with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing.

• At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing, or a graduate of the GE Leadership Program in place of experience.

• Background in sourcing, purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or delivery operations.

• Strong analytical skills for identifying issues, determining root causes, and implementing effective solutions.

• Experience in documenting processes, overseeing projects or programs, and executing tasks involving multiple stakeholders.

• Proficient in working with data, reporting, and process performance metrics.

• Familiarity with Smartsheet is required or highly preferred.

• Experience with Oracle or comparable ERP systems is advantageous.

• Capability to train, coach, and influence team members across various functions.

• Excellent communication skills for interactions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• A mindset focused on continuous improvement.

• Must fulfill U.S. Person status requirements to access U.S. export-controlled information: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, or granted asylee/refugee status.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
