Draughtsman

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Create precise, construction-ready landscape drawings utilizing AutoCAD.

• Develop landscape and site plans, grading plans, planting plans, and construction details.

• Assemble polished presentation packages for clients based on design concepts.

• Operate exclusively in imperial units (feet and inches).

• Adhere to company CAD standards, including file naming conventions and layer organization.

• Evaluate drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.

• Collaborate effectively with the design team to transform concepts into detailed technical drawings.

• Respond swiftly to design modifications and feedback.

• Ensure timely project completion while upholding high quality standards.

• Organize project files and documentation meticulously.

• Undertake additional drafting and design support tasks as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2–3 years of AutoCAD drafting experience.

• Demonstrated experience in generating landscape plans, site plans, grading plans, planting plans, construction details, and client presentation packages.

• Experience in producing construction-ready drawings.

• Proficient in working with imperial measurements (feet and inches).

• Strong grasp of drafting standards and drawing accuracy.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Capability to follow directives while working independently with limited supervision.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
