Donor Relations Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivate strong relationships with donors

• Improve donor involvement

• Obtain major and planned contributions that align with Foundation strategies and goals

• Act as a representative of the Foundation

• Inspire enthusiastic backing for Alpha Chi Omega’s educational and charitable missions

• Collaborate with donors, volunteers, and team members

• Gain expertise in the designated area of focus

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in fundraising is essential

• Preferably have direct experience in major gifts, planned giving, and/or direct donor interaction

• A mix of relevant education and professional or volunteer experience may be evaluated

• Candidates with varying levels of experience will be taken into account

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is mandatory

• Must maintain a high standard of maturity, integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism

• Exhibits excellent written, verbal, presentation, and listening abilities

• Able to work with urgency and adaptability within a team-driven and target-oriented setting

• Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word and email, is required

• Previous experience with iMIS or another donor management system is preferred

• Membership in Alpha Chi Omega or another Greek-letter organization is favored

• CFRE or similar certification is desirable
