This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Provide expert recommendations aimed at enhancing service quality and optimizing cost efficiency.
β’ Apply medical expertise to assess donor eligibility.
β’ Collaborate with external partners to secure comprehensive and precise medical chart data.
β’ Analyze and arrange sensitive medical information in both paper and electronic medical records.
β’ Oversee donor medical records and databases for the generation of statistical reports.
β’ Conduct quality assessments of departmental outputs.
β’ Support the education and training of fellow associates.
β’ Complete training in various roles, including coordinator, first review, second review, and one additional position.
β’ Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and confidentiality of donor medical records.
β’ Find, print, scan, and systematize both paper and electronic medical charts.
β’ Verify data within medical charts and assist in the archiving of records.
β’ Manage the departmental inbox.
β’ Mentor team members with less experience.
β’ Execute other assigned responsibilities.
β’ Associate degree is mandatory.
β’ Bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ At least 6 years of experience in chart reviewing is required.
β’ 5 years of industry experience is preferred.
β’ Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of educational qualifications.
β’ CTBS certification is preferred.
β’ Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Familiarity with digital chart software.
β’ Commitment to confidentiality.
β’ Capability to move or lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
β’ Regularly (>75%) in a stationary position (standing or sitting) while using digital displays.
β’ Frequent (>75%) fine manipulation with hands and fingers (typing, opening, writing, clicking, sorting papers, etc.).
β’ Work in an onsite office environment with a designated workstation, or in a home office setting for remote roles.
