Domain Consultant, Level 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create and present product demonstrations and sales presentations for Idira technology.

• Execute proof-of-concept evaluations with potential customers.

• Highlight Idira’s value and unique features to achieve technical victories.

• Serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor for machine identity security solutions throughout the sales process.

• Collaborate with Account Executives to convey solution value to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Lead technical discovery sessions to comprehend customer environments, challenges, and security objectives.

• Convert customer requirements into solution architecture and deployment strategies.

• Work alongside product management and R&D to shape product direction and address customer concerns.

• Stay updated on DevOps tools, CI/CD, Agentic AI frameworks, and industry best practices.

• Support marketing initiatives to build pipeline and enhance lead generation.

• Conduct technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions.

• Travel as necessary for customer meetings, conferences, and on-site workshops.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering position, preferably in cybersecurity and/or DevOps tools.

• Strong comprehension of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.

• Knowledge of SSL/TLS, SSH, PKI, and HSM security technologies.

• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks, LLMs, or autonomous AI workflows.

• Development experience in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.

• Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell or Bash.

• Capability to work with REST APIs.

• Familiarity with AI orchestration, prompt engineering, or integrating AI agents into development lifecycles.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in managing and executing detailed technical responses for RFIs and RFPs.

• Ability to distill complex technical concepts into business value propositions.

• Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and secrets management systems.

• Preferred: operational experience with PKI deployment and lifecycle management.

• Preferred: experience with IAM, PAM, or secrets management solutions.

• Preferred: familiarity with Zero Trust security models and security compliance frameworks.

• Preferred: experience securing or deploying autonomous AI agents.

• Relevant certifications are a plus, including Kubernetes, AWS, CyberArk Guardian, or CyberArk Defender.

• K8s certifications such as CKA or CKS and/or cloud architect certifications are preferred.

🏝️ Benefits

• Starting base salary of $198,000.00–$273,000.00 annually.
