This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Offer technical expertise and support in customers' network security and zero trust initiatives

• Develop technical solutions that safeguard customers' essential business objectives

• Promote Palo Alto Networks' on-premise, cloud, and security services

• Collaborate with sales teams to suggest and create customer solutions

• Act as a technical authority to customers ranging from practitioners to senior leadership

• Lead and facilitate customer demonstrations

• Manage technical validation projects for prospective customers and partners

• Design solutions to enhance and simplify customers' security posture

• Document high-level designs along with key use cases

• Engage in discussions about industry trends and transformations in the security domain

• Address product alignment, customer needs, and competitive advantages

• Serve as the primary technical contact for Network Security and assist with RFIs/RFPs

• Position Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services for effective implementation and value realization

• Analyze competitive marketplace offerings and advocate for Palo Alto Networks as the premier choice

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering related to Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security, or SSE/SASE

• Proficient in L2-L4 Networking, encompassing L2 switching architectures, Spanning Tree, VLANs/trunking, IP routing, static routes, OSPF, BGP, route redistribution, and L4 load-balancing

• Excellent customer communication and problem-solving abilities

• Experience collaborating with customers while demonstrating problem-solving skills and a positive attitude

• Comprehensive understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP, and BYOD solutions

• In-depth knowledge of both on-premise and cloud-based network security technologies

• Willingness to attend in-person customer meetings; travel may be necessary

• Proficient in English
